Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) was forced to withdraw from his highly anticipated return against Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) June 29 at T-Mobile Arena due to an undisclosed injury. The promotion scrambled, and put together a new main event for UFC 303 – a light heavyweight title-fight rematch between champion Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. An exciting featherweight matchup between Brian Ortega and rising star Diego Lopes was also added as the new co-main event
