Former two-time women’s bantamweight champion and two-division UFC titleholder  Amanda Nunes may have retired in July 2023, but her presence is still felt.   Following her UFC 307  championship win over  Raquel Pennington to recaptured the women’s 135-pound title,  Julianna Peña called out Nunes for a trilogy fight.  Peña defeated Nunes at UFC 271 in December 2021 to win the women’s bantamweight title the first time.
