Cerrone (36-11 MMA, 23-8 UFC) defeated Iaquinta (14-5-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC) by unanimous decision in the “Fight of the Night” on Saturday, which took place at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and streamed on ESPN+. “Cowboy” landed a UFC career high 138 significant strikes over the course of five rounds, Iaquinta lasted through it all, surviving two knockdowns, a bloody nose and multiple cuts in a losing effort.
