Not everyone agreed with the stoppage in the UFC 244 main event between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz . However, UFC president Dana White, for one, has no qualms. Initially, White wasn’t a fan of the doctor’s stoppage, which ended the bout between Masvidal (35-13 MMA, 12-6 UFC) and Diaz (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC) on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. Seeing some of the other recent cuts in combat sports that were deemed okay by athletic commissions, White had a bone to pick with the decision. “Cuts that big are always a problem,” White told ESPN on the UFC 244 post-fight show.
