After barely getting his visa approved for UFC 266 , Dan Hooker thinks it’s about time he moved his camp over to the United States. Hooker (20-10 MMA, 10-6 UFC) obtained his U.S. visa on Monday morning and is set to arrive just two days before his fight against Nasrat Haqparast (13-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) on Saturday. Hooker’s struggles to make it in and out of New Zealand since the COVID-19 pandemic hit have been well documented. After getting stopped in the first round by Michael Chandler at UFC 257 in January, he was forced to spend a month in the United Arab Emirates, before returning home for a mandatory two-week quarantine.
