Former UFC welterweight title contender Dan Hardy was forced to step away from fighting in early 2013 after being diagnosed with a rare heart condition. While preparing to face Matt Brown , Hardy discovered that he suffered from Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome, a disorder of the electrical system of the heart.
