Few have risen to the top of the mixed martial arts world faster than UFC featherweight Conor McGregor . Upon his arrival in the UFC in April 2013, the 26-year-old Irishman called out the entire division and let it be known that he’s eyeing the 145-pound belt. Current featherweight titleholder Jose Aldo is scheduled to put his title on the line in a rematch with Team Alpha Male-trained Chad Mendes at UFC 179 on Oct. 25. McGregor will be watching closely, but doesn’t give a damn which one wins. “There are many factors to it,” said McGregor during the UFC 178 Media Day promoting his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier .
