Officials from the city of Bastia on the French Island of Corsica have decided to dismiss a sexual assault case against UFC star Conor McGregor , TMZ reported on Wednesday. In September 2020, McGregor was arrested on allegations of sexual assault and indecent exposure . McGregor was interviewed and released by French officials, and his team subsequently issued a statement and vehemently denied all wrongdoing. Eight months later, prosecutors have informed McGregor of their decision not to press charges in a letter obtained by TMZ, which was written in French and translated as follows: “The examination of the present proceedings does not justify any criminal prosecution since: – “The facts or the circumstances of the facts of the proceedings could not have been clearly established by the investigations
