Throughout the days leading up to UFC 272 , Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal have had no shortage of verbal jabs to trade. In the main event of Saturday’s pay-per-view, the talk will become secondary when the former friends turned enemies finally meet inside the cage at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Although the pair had plenty of expletive-filled insults to hurl at each other during the pre-fight press conference and during the final staredown at ceremonial weigh-ins, Covington (16-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) continued the back-and-forth with Masvidal (35-15 MMA, 12-8 UFC) on social media Friday evening. Covington offered his assessment of Masvidal’s demeanor after their final pre-fight staredown and suggested he take GHB, a date-rape drug that he previously accused American Top Team coach Mike Brown of consuming during his fighting career.
