For the first time in his 12-year fighting career, Clay “The Carpenter” Guida will compete in Brazil. UFC officials announced on Friday that the veteran would face Thiago Tavares in a featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson 3 on Nov. 7 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Guida (32-15) has won three of his five fights in the 145-pound division since dropping weight classes in 2013. The former lightweight contender is coming off a unanimous decision win over Robbie Peralta in April and is currently ranked eleventh in the featherweight division
