Invicta Fighting Championships’ next show has taken another injury hit. Julia Budd (5-2) has suffered a neck injury that will knock her out of her featherweight bout against Ediane Gomes (10-2) at Invicta FC 6. Stepping in for Budd will be Charmaine Tweet (4-3). Promotion officials confirmed a report of the injury from MMARising.com . Invicta FC 6 takes place July 13 at Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Mo. The event airs on pay-per-view in North America, and international viewers can watch via an online pay-per-view stream, each for $14.95. Tweet, from Canada, will make her Invicta debut on a three-fight win streak.
