Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor says his UFC return is in December, but there’s been no confirmation of that from the fight promotion. McGregor hasn’t fought in more than two years. The last time he was in the octagon he suffered a broken leg in his trilogy match with Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Fully recovered from the injury, McGregor has been calling out fighters in the UFC and boxing. He called for a bout against Justin Gaethje, KSI in a bare knuckle match, as well as Canelo Alvarez in a boxing bout. ’Canelo’ responded to McGregor’s call out while leaving a press conference to promote his September scrap against Jermell Charlo
