A week after the Nevada State Athletic Commission voted unanimously to ban applications for therapeutic use exemptions for testosterone replacement therapy , the California State Athletic Commission has issued its support. CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster on Thursday issued a statement explaining that the California commission is in the process of altering its rules to meet the standards of the World Anti-Doping Agency for anyone that wants a TUE for TRT, which is a much more stringent standard than what has typically been applied in the MMA. Until the process is complete, TRT is under a “total ban” in California.
