The former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE superstar says that a possible return to the top MMA promotion in the world was not out of the question when his WWE contract was running out in early 2015. While speaking to former WWE star Steve Austin on his podcast (as transcribed by Fox Sports ), Lesnar said that he had gone as far as starting up a training camp to explore if he was ready to return to the octagon. In the end, Lesnar chose to remain with WWE .
