The Nevada State Athletic Commission has temporarily suspended Brian Bowles after saying he tested positive for elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone levels following his loss at UFC 160. NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer today informed MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the bantamweight came back with an T/E ratio of more than 20-to-1. The commission’s official limit is 6-to-1. Kizer said Bowles hadn’t applied for a therapeutic-use exemption for testosterone-replacement therapy prior to the event. The fighter declined comment when contacted by MMAjunkie.com today
