Sometimes when you’re teasing something big, less is more. That was clearly the thought in the minds of Bellator’s public relations team when it fired off a press release that landed in The Blue Corner’s inbox Tuesday. “BELLATOR MMA TO ANNOUNCE INTERNATIONAL ATHLETE SIGNING” That was the title, before going on to tell us that the promotion will unveil its latest addition on Thursday, but for now describing the new arrival simply as “a major new signing to their international roster of talent.” Bellator helpfully provided two promo shots of the fighter in question, neither of which did much to reveal the identity, other than we can safely say it’s a man.
