A representative from the Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) – the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission – today told MMAjunkie the controversial result will stand. “There is no action CABMMA can take at this time, and the result will be maintained,” Cristiano Sampaio, the regulatory body’s chief operating officer, wrote in a prepared statement sent to MMAjunkie. During Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 62 preliminary card, which aired on FOX Sports 2 from Brazil prior to the FOX Sports 1 main card, Brazilian fighter Leandro Silva (18-2-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was awarded a second-round submission victory over fellow lightweight Dober (15-7 MMA, 1-3 UFC)
