Brandon Moreno thinks ex-rival Deiveson Figueiredo made the right choice by moving up to bantamweight. Former flyweight champion Figueiredo (21-3-1 MMA, 10-6 UFC) makes his 135-pound debut against Rob Font (20-7 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC) on Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 52 main card at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The main card airs on ESPN following prelims on ESPN+. Moreno and Figueiredo competed in four title fights, with Moreno getting the last laugh by stopping Figueiredo at UFC 283 to unify the flyweight titles.
