Bellator officials confirmed the news to MMAjunkie following Friday’s event at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif. Halsey (9-0 MMA, 7-0 BMMA) defeated Grove (21-15 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) by fourth-round TKO but was forced to surrender his middleweight title after he failed to make weight for what was supposed to be his first title defense.
