MELBOURNE, Australia – Brad Riddell is ready to get the ball rolling for City Kickboxing at UFC 243. He joins teammates Dan Hooker and interim middleweight champion Israel Adesanya on Saturday night, when he takes on Jamie Mullarkey on the ESPN 2 prelims at Marvel Stadium. “I get to start this wave for me and my mates,” Riddell told MMA Junkie. “I get to fight first then Dan (Hooker) and Izzy (Adesanya), we’re just going to do a trifecta, man, and we’re going to starch everybody, and roll out of here, and just establish who we are.” A former kickboxer turned MMA fighter, Riddell admits his slow start in MMA came due to the fact that he saw kickboxing as more of an actual fight. He turned professional in 2013 but has only fought seven times.
