Ben Parrish is happy to continue playing the role of prospect killer. A 6-to-1 underdog against highly touted Christian Edwards last September at Bellator 266, it took Parrish (5-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) only 38 seconds to score one of the biggest upsets of 2021 when he sparked Edwards with a big overhand left in his promotional debut. Now “Big Tuna” will get the opportunity to shut down another prospect when he faces Ryan Bader protege Sullivan Cauley (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) at Bellator 273 on Jan. 29 at Footprint Center in Phoenix. “I know what I’m getting myself into right here,” Parrish told MMA Junkie. “I don’t want to sell him too high or sell him too short, but he’s a college wrestler, he’s got some hands, he’s really fast, athletic, powerful.
