A rematch between bantamweight champion  Merab Dvalishvili and former titleholder  Sean O’Malley headlines UFC 316 in June.  Dvalishvili (19-4) captured the 135-pound championship by defeating O’Malley (18-2, 1 NC) at UFC 306 inside The Sphere in Las Vegas. O’Malley hasn’t fought since the loss and underwent hip surgery and physical rehabilitation shortly after the the fight. Dvalishvili successfully defended the belt in January, defeating  Umar Nurmagomedov via unanimous decision. Former UFC welterweight contender  Ben Askren believes O’Malley made a mistake accepting the rematch.   “For Sean, if you look at his skillset and who he is, I kind of think this is a bad move,” ,” Askren said on YouTube . “If he gets beat up by Merab again the he loses his whole lot of attraction because it’s like, well, you already lost to the champ twice.
