Bellator fighter Virgil Zwicker  (12-4 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) said he was on a football field coaching a practice when he got the call to fill in for an injured James Thompson to fight Houston Alexander (16-10 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) at Bellator 129. “I’ve been at my house thinking and looking for something,” Zwicker told MMAjunkie. “I needed something or some motivation, so God just blessed me with that phone call and this opportunity.” Bellator 129 takes place Oct. 17 at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The event’s main card airs live on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.
