One person who wasn’t as excited with the pairing, however, was welterweight standout Michael Page (12-0 MMA, 8-0 BMMA), who had been devoting some level of energy to trying to lure fellow Englishman Daley (39-14-2 MMA, 5-1 BMMA) into a showdown of their own (via Instagram ): Now expected to fight on the same card as his social-media foe, Page detailed the origin of their beef and explained just how his once-cordial relationship with Daley went into callout mode. “I thought we were cool,” Page told MMAjunkie. “Not necessarily like the best of friends, just every time we’re together, when we’re doing things like this – which is quite regular, because we’re both from the U.K, so we were doing media events together – we were cool.
