Filed under: Bellator , News , Videos Melvin Guillard immediately stirred interest during his Bellator 159 post-fight interview when he called for a matchup against fellow knockout artist Paul Daley . Guillard (33-16-2 MMA, 1-2 BMMA), who stopped David Rickels (17-5 MMA, 11-5 BMMA) in the first round of this past Friday’s co-main event for his first win under the Bellator banner, announced after the fight he would be moving up to the welterweight division after a string of failed weight cuts at lightweight. “The Young Assassin” apparently had a plan in mind when declaring entry to the 170-pound weight class, because he called out of one its biggest names in Daley (38-14-2 MMA, 4-1 BMMA). “This is officially my last fight at 155,” Guillard said during his interview with Bellator commentator Jimmy Smith. “I’m going up to 170 (and) I want ‘Semtex.’ I want Paul Daley.” It was a timely callout because Daley, 33, competed just one week prior to Guillard, 33, in the main event of Bellator 158
