With a new head honcho at Bellator MMA, additions are coming to all of the promotion’s weight classes. Bellator President Scott Coker already has bolstered the roster with veterans of the now-defunct Strikeforce. Featherweight champ Pat Curran is ready to fight whomever the promotion puts in front of him, as he told MMAjunkie in a recent interview. But for now, he sees only a pair of imminent threats: Patricio Freire and Daniel Straus . Curran (20-5 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) said he anticipates a fourth meeting with Straus if he’s victorious over Freire (21-2 MMA, 9-2 BMMA) on Friday at Bellator 123, which takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. (Main-card fights air live on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.) “A fourth fight usually doesn’t happen much in this sport, but that’s just where we’re at,” Curran said.
