UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Welterweights Ed Ruth and Jason Jackson put on a thriller Friday night. A sleeper fight on the Bellator 231 main card, Ruth (7-1 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) and Jackson (10-3 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) walked away from Bellator 231 with their fair shares of bumps and bruises after the the final bell was run. The decision was split with two judges scoring the bout in favor of the winner and Penn State University alumnus Ruth. The scores were 29-28, 28-29, 29-28. A relative newcomer to Bellator, Jackson signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion earlier this year
