INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Juan Archuleta went on quite an impressive run, winning 18 straight fights overall and five in a row in Bellator. But there are levels to this game, and when Archeluta went up a weight class to meet Patricio Freire on Saturday night at Bellator 228, he found out why many consider “Pitbull” the greatest fighter in Bellator history. Freiere, the Bellator lightweight and featherweight champion, quite simply schooled Archuleta in his featherweight title defense which doubled as a first-round bout in the grand prix tournament. The judges’ scores were 49-46, 50-45, and 49-46 for a unanimous decision in favor of the champion.
