Bellator is back in the Chicago area next week, and the promotion is producing a special “Countdown” series. Bellator 221 takes place May 11 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., near Chicago. The main card streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie. In the main event, lightweight champion Michael Chandler (19-4 MMA, 16-4 BMMA) puts his title on the line against Patricio Freire (28-4 MMA, 16-4 BMMA), the promotion’s featherweight champ.
