After his win at Bellator 152, though, he said he’s finally done enough. Freire (16-7 MMA, 9-6 BMMA) bested short-notice replacement opponent Kevin Souza (15-5 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) by unanimous decision in Saturday’s Bellator 152 headliner, which took place at Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy. It gave him his second straight victory. Although “Pitbull” has had a turbulent run in Bellator, he’s seemingly found his groove over the past few years, winning six of his past eight bouts. He said that streak shouldn’t go unrewarded, and at title shot would be fitting.
