Bellator 140 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on Friday night was all about the welterweights. Most of those welterweights delivered exciting finishes, but the one fight that promised fireworks coming in didn’t play out as anyone expected. Both known for their explosive knockout power, neither Douglas Lima nor Andrey Koreshkov delivered the knockout bomb that several of the night’s other victors did before them. While Lima and Koreshkov traded blows throughout the fight, it was the Russian that took control from the opening bell.
