The official weigh-in for Bellator 137: Halsey vs. Grove took place on Thursday in Temecula, Calif. Five fighters failed to make weight including middleweight champion Brandon Halsey , who was scheduled to defend his title for the first time against Kendall Grove in the fight card’s main event. The Viacom-owned fight promotion stripped Halsey of his title and the belt will only be up for grabs for Grove on Friday at the Pechanga Resort and Casino. If Halsey wins, the championship will become vacant. In total, five fighters failed to hit their weigh-in mark on Friday, including co-main event fighter Mike Richman
