Welterweight Roan Carneiro said he wants the money he earned for winning a Battlegrounds MMA tournament this past Friday and will pursue an appeal with the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission after it fined him 30 percent of his purse for reportedly showing up late to a pre-bout physical. Carneiro (19-9) bested three opponents at the event at BOK Center in Tulsa and was supposed to make $50,000.
