After spending nearly a year away from fighting, former UFC featherweight Kurt Holobaugh returned to action this past February for Titan FC and scored a big win over former Bellator fighter Eric Marriott. Looking back on the win over Marriott, Holobaugh feels it was the kind of fight to put him back on the map after 10 months off. “He’s a tough veteran, but I feel I gave him all he could handle,” said Holobaugh of Marriott. “He’s definitely a good, well-rounded fighter, and considering I could have submitted him, even with my hand being broke, it was a pretty good fight. “I showcased a little bit more of my abilities and overall I feel I performed pretty well.” Not only was Holobaugh determined to return to fighting in solid fashion, but also avoid losing his third straight fight.
