AUSTIN, Texas – Arman Tsarukyan made a big statement Saturday, and he’s hoping to turn that into a title shot. The rising lightweight contender put away Beneil Dariush in devastating fashion in the main event of UFC on ESPN 52 . Tsarukyan (21-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) needed a little more than a minute to connect a right hand on Dariush (22-6-1 MMA, 16-6-1 UFC) and put him out cold. Afterward, Tsarukyan called for a shot at lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. “Sure, I was expecting (the knockout),” Tsarukyan told reporters at the UFC on ESPN 52 post-fight news conference at Moody Center in Austin, Texas
