The MMA world has lost a big fan and bright personality. Culinary star Anthony Bourdain, host of CNN’s “Parts Unknown” and voice-over talent for several UFC pay-per-view events, is dead of an apparent suicide. He was 61. The globetrotting observer of food and culture was discovered by celebrity chef Eric Ripert in a hotel room in Kaysersberg, France, where he was shooting an episode of his show. A city prosecutor told the New York Times the cause of death was hanging, and no foul play was suspected. Bourdain is survived by a daughter, Ariane, and girlfriend Asa Argento.
