MMAWeekly.com sources on Monday confirmed that featherweight Jimy Hettes has had to withdraw from his UFC Fight Night 81 bout with Charles Rosa , which was slated for Sunday in Boston. The UFC Boston card already suffered two other announced changes on Monday, less than a week prior to fight time. MMAJunkie.com first reported the injury, which Hettes announced and then deleted from his Facebook page. “Unfortunately, I’m out of my fight in Boston that was scheduled for the 17th; I suffered a bad knee injury this past Saturday and I’m gonna be on the ‘sidelines’ for awhile. The injuries have been piling up lately and might be time to hang up the gloves and explore other options,” Hettes wrote. “Have to get some more tests done before I make my final decision, but big thanks to my family, friends and fans for being supportive as always.” Although he is 3-3 in the Octagon, Hettes has fought just three times over the past three years, mostly due to dealing with injuries.
