One of the most polarizing fighters in MMA is no longer a member of the UFC roster. Angela Magana (11-9 MMA, 0-3 UFC), who is coming off a second-round TKO loss to Amanda Cooper (3-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) at UFC 218 last weekend, announced today on social media that she’s been informed of her release from the UFC following a three-fight stint (via Twitter ): I immediately asked for a rematch with #ufc and they have released me after dropping 3 losses in a row. I'm thankful for the opportunities afforded to me through my journey with @ufc and am currently headed to the gym to train for my next win. #yourmajesty — Angela Magana (@AngelaMagana1) December 8, 2017 Magana joined the UFC roster in late 2015 after appearing on Season 20 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series.
