Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Jessica Aguilar finally has the chance to prove what she’s long said: She’s the top 115-pound female fighter in the world. To do it, though, she needed to leave her former home. To sign with the UFC earlier this year, Aguilar left WSOF, where she was the organization’s strawweight champion and went 3-0 with two successful title defenses. Now, riding a 10-fight winning streak, Aguilar (19-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is finalizing her preparations for a UFC 190 shutdown with Claudia Gadelha (12-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), which takes place Aug. 1 at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena and airs on the pay-per-view main card. Although not official, the bout could be a title eliminator.
