The two lightweights recently changed camps, but Del Fierro, a veteran trainer who works with numerous high-level fighters, said it’s the nature of the business. “Like anything else, we have tons of fighters here,” he recently told MMAjunkie. “We have tons of fighters that change camps. That just happens. It’s part of the sport.
