A heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Ben Rothwell has been scheduled for UFC Fight Night Connecticut on Sept. 5, officials confirmed on Wednesday evening. The bout is added to the developing Fight Night card, which takes place at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut. The fight was first reported by FOXSports.com . Overeem (37-13, 1 NC) will come into the bout after returning to the win column in his last outing. Against Frank Mir, Overeem went three rounds and won a unanimous decision, stopping a two-fight losing streak at UFC 169 last February.
