Following a 10-fight winning streak, the Brazilian lost his heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez at UFC 155 in December 2012. The defeat kicked off a current 2-3 run. His most recent bout was a TKO defeat at the hands of Alistair Overeem (40-14-1 MMA, 5-3 UFC). It was considered by many to be the worst performance of the once-dominant Dos Santos’ (17-4 MMA, 11-3 UFC) career. He has the opportunity to rebound in a big way when he faces Ben Rothwell (36-9 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 86, which takes place Sunday at Zagreb Arena in Zagreb, Croatia
