Varner (21-11-1 MMA, 3-6 UFC), a former WEC lightweight champion, ended his career on a bit of a sour note after nearly knocking himself out during a throw and eventually tapping out to rear-naked choke from Drew Dober (15-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC).
