So in perhaps the biggest fight of his career against former champ Johny Hendricks at UFC 200, he’s not going to waste a single minute of fight time. Gastelum suffered a split decision loss to Neil Magny in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 78 in November. Magny started strong by winning the first three rounds, but then Gastelum turned it on to take the final two. It wasn’t enough, however, and “The Ultimate Fighter 17” winner dropped the narrow decision. A crucial lesson was learned in that fight, Gastelum (11-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) said.
