LAS VEGAS – Erin Blanchfield turned a lot of heads with her dominant performance at Saturday’s UFC 269 against Miranda Maverick. In a flyweight bout that placed two young promising talents against one another, Blanchfield (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) shined as she settled into the fight. Using her wrestling, Blanchfield (9-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) was able to bring Maverick to the mat with little resistance throughout the fight, setting the women’s flyweight record for takedowns in a fight.
