LONDON – Molly McCann could not have picked a more perfect time for her first stoppage win in the UFC. McCann (12-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) was having a stellar go of things in her women’s flyweight bout against Luana Carolina (8-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 204 in London in her home country of England. On her way to a decision win, McCann threw something that left no doubt. McCann drilled Carolina with a spinning back elbow that connected flush and put Carolina out instantly. After four UFC decision wins, including three in a row in 2019 before a two-fight skid, McCann’s first finish in the promotion will live on her highlight reel in perpetuity – and will rank among the most vicious women’s UFC finishes in history.
