Derrick Krantz wasn’t able to make good on the short-notice call for his UFC debut, but with his second booking approaching, “D-Rock” believes he’s ready to show what he’s capable of in the cage. Krantz takes on Song Kenan at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 15 in Shenzhen, China, and this time he’ll get a full training camp and weight-cut process leading into the fight. He lost a first-round TKO to top welterweight contender Vicente Luque at this past May’s UFC on ESPN+ 10, in a fight where he had to focus more on making weight than creating a gameplan. He had less than a week’s notice to make the 170-pound limit in that contest, which he believes affected his performance. “I came to the fight on short notice, and losing all that weight, it just affected my body, the energy levels I needed,” Krantz told MMA Junkie. “So I knew I needed to go out there in the first round and pretty much try and put him away because my energy levels weren’t there
