LAS VEGAS – Undefeated Brazilian heavyweight Rodrigo Nascimento impressed Dana White and the UFC matchmakers to earn a contract at Dana White’s Contender Series 22 on Tuesday night. Now he appears set to face a swift turnaround for his octagon debut. Dana White revealed in his post-event scrum that matchmaker Mick Maynard had floated the possibility of a debut for Nascimento (7-0) as early as August and, speaking to the media backstage after his win, the Brazilian seemed happy with that idea. “No problem, I’m ready!” he said. “I don’t know who, I don’t know where, but definitely I’m ready.
