Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos MONTREAL – Abdel Medjedoub ’s run on Season 23 of “The Ultimate Fighter” has been among the most tumultuous of any competitor in the history of the reality series. Medjedoub (3-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a Team Claudia light heavyweight, became the first in the show’s history to leave the set to return home to see family after his wife called the producers of the show and demanded to speak with him about a personal issue. Although he wouldn’t reveal the reasoning behind the problems with his wife, other than he made a regrettable mistake, UFC President Dana White granted Medjedoub a rare three-day leave to resolve the problems before coming back. Once he re-entered the competition it was Medjedoub’s turn to fight.
