He does this before every fight, just as he’ll do it before his fight Saturday against fellow welterweight Derrick Kennington at a Glory Fights event in Annandale, Va. He’s done it since he was in middle school, wrestling strange kids in a strange land as people shouted instructions in a language he didn’t understand.
